Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-11-01
1. Who is responsible for your data
Rapolas Andruška, a private individual in Lithuania (the "controller"). To ask a privacy question or use your rights, send me a message on LinkedIn.
2. What is processed, why, and on what legal basis
- Technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages requested. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes this data to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a working and secure website (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not see or store this data myself. Cloudflare keeps its technical logs for the time set in its own policy.
- Messages: this site has no contact form, no comment function and no sign-up. It stores no messages. If you write to me on LinkedIn, LinkedIn processes the message under its own privacy policy, and I use it only to answer you.
- Your device: the site may remember on your device, for the current visit only, that you have already seen the intro animation (browser session storage). It contains no personal data and is not sent anywhere.
- No statistics or advertising: I do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or profiling, and make no automated decisions about you.
You do not have to give me any data to use this site. If you block the technical data, the pages cannot be delivered to you.
3. Who receives the data
Only service providers that process data for me under data processing terms:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting and security of this website. Cloudflare's customer data processing addendum applies.
Cloudflare is based in the USA, so your data can be transferred outside the EU. Cloudflare states that it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and that its data processing addendum also includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses as a fallback. I do not sell your data.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no cookies and loads no scripts, fonts or other content from third parties. The fonts are served from this site itself, so Google or other font services never receive your IP address.
If third-party content such as a video or a map is ever added, it will load only after you click on it, and that provider may then set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
5. How long data is kept
I keep no personal data from this website. A LinkedIn conversation stays in your and my LinkedIn accounts until one of us deletes it. Cloudflare's technical logs are kept as set out in Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Message me on LinkedIn; I answer within one month.
You can also complain to the supervisory authority: State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI). Its page explains how to submit a complaint.
7. Changes
I update this policy when the processing changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
